Tequesquitengo

The Lake of Tequesquitengo, located in Mexico, is the main hydrologic storage of the state of Morelos, is a closed river basin of 28 km ², with a surface of flood of 8 km ². From the geologic point of view it is a tectonic grave of more than 130 meters of depth and the water depth is 30 meters at the center. It is located to 111 km of the City of Mexico or 45 km of Cuernavaca. The lake in the form of drop has the following dimensions: the water mirror measures 4,2 km in its greater length, 2,5 km in the minor and 16 km of perimeter, are located to 887,37 meters on the level of the sea between Puente de Ixtla and Jojutla en the State of Morelos. elevation is of 887,37 meters on the level of the sea
